The City of Kalamazoo needed to develop a series of vacant lots in a concentrated, near-downtown neighborhood. The proposed infill plan created a framework for city-led infill development and neighborhood revitalization, with an emphasis on housing diversity. Additionally, the Rose-Burdick plan features buildings from the pre-approved plan sets, testing the feasibility, configuration, and implementation of future middle-scale development.
